Farewell to Lucca

We stayed in the old city and our apartment was housed within a villa, accessed via a large and very heavy set of wooden doors. The apartments on all four sides lookout onto a central courtyard. It was so very quiet and private. It was the perfect place for our 4 nights in Tuscany.
