Carcassonne Day 5
Wednesday 4th October
I returned to Saint Vincent’s church today. I am keen to solve the mystery of the bell ringing but so far I have been out of luck. The church was locked. I visited the tourist office again and found some different staff members to help me solve the mystery – the answer from one tourist officer, “I always have lots and lots of people asking that question and I don’t know the answer!!” So, sadly I will be leaving Carcassonne with the mystery unsolved. I did however snap some great images of the gargoyles on the church.
