Arrowtown

Writer’s Retreat done and dusted. Now it’s time to explore Central Otago.  First stop Arrowtown on our way to visit Tricia Batkins in Cambrian.

Although I have been to Arrowtown a few times in the past I was pleasantly surprised to discover something different.  The Chinese Miner’s Camp on the edge of town.  What a tough life it must have been for all the miners attempting to make their fortune in such a harsh environment.
