Uzes
We took advantage of the cool morning and after a cuppa set out to explore the village. Being Sunday it was quieter than the busy market day on Saturday. Although we soon discovered that Place aux Herbes (the main square) was alive with activity due to the artisans market. We found these stalls much more interesting than the big markets on Saturday. Apart from the great fresh and local produce, the Saturday market was full of stalls peddling cheap Asian imports. I bought a few interesting things. Spent some more time wandering before returning home to lunch on some of the yummy things we bought in the markets yesterday.
