Friday 5th December
Another very relaxed start to the day. We drove to the next bay north of Tutukaka and walked out to the lighthouse. As suggested this walk needs to be taken whilst the tide is low so the crossing between land masses is a dry one. We climbed to the top of the hill on the other side and found the lighthouse. Once again we were rewarded with fabulous 360 degree views.
We came back to Tutukaka for lunch at Schnappa on the Rocks. The fresh fish was a great reward after a hot walk.
