Days four and five were pretty much more of the same. Great roads, clear skies and lots of people. The camp grounds are a joy for social interaction and two couples took me under their wing one night. We sat back under a starry sky enjoying a BBQ and red wine swapping stories, some of which may have been true!
I have arrived at the Rock after 2,440 km, 24 and a half hours in the saddle and expenditure on fuel accumulating to $220.45. I had big plans of using only Premium 98 the whole way but quite often the fuel came out of a nozzle and aside from that I was none the wiser. One bowser was signed with requirements for my own attire….no one without a shirt could get fuel!! I demurred and took what I could get.
