Day 11 – Monday 27th November
Damo and John continued with the retaining wall slotting the last sleepers into place on either end.
Then it was time to tackle the bushes resisting removal at the front of the house. Eventually crowbars were required to finish the job. The digger started on scraping back the soil to make way for the amphitheatre style benching beside the pool. The occasional very large rock provided a challenge, but nothing too difficult for the digger.
The holes for the support posts for the retaining wall had to be dug by hand.
