We drove from Boreen Point towards Byron after a night in the campground and breakfast on the foreshore at Lake Cootharaba. We stopped by Noosa for coffee and a walk on the beach. Driving south we got stuck in a traffic jam for 1 1/2 hours before arriving into Byron at Imeson Cottage. Bretan Clifford drove up from Melbourne and arrived at the same time.
Our accommodation for the next 7 days is Imeson Cottage right on the beach. We have already been for a surf, swim and eaten pizza on the deck just a couple of metres off the beach.
