Bologna

Just a few more quirky things about Bologna.  We stayed within the old city walls however they are not as evident as the complete city walls of Lucca.  The other interesting thing is that the canals of Bologna have in the most part been covered over with asphalt. We found one very small section of the Moline Canal as we wandered around after dinner this evening.

 

We dined alfresco style which is what we do almost every time we dine out.  Unfortunately that is also where all the smokers dine as well – oh well we just get on with it. After our meal our waiter was very keen to show us the inside of the restaurant.
