Albi Day 4

Albi Day 4

Tuesday 25th September

A day to take things easy. I did a little bit of local exploring, popped into the other church, Saint Salvi which is even closer to our apartment than the Cathedral. It was built in the 11th century and is an interesting mix of white stone & red brick on the exterior and white stone within. Although not as large as the Cathedral it does ring out the church bells during the day immediately following the ringing of the Cathedral bells.

Albi sky – lots of aeroplanes pass over during the day

St Salvi Garden

Walkway into St Salvi

Timber & brick construction

Chocolate crocodile

….. and we thought we were rugby mad in Australia!
