Sepik River, Papua New Guinea Day 19

Wednesday 15th October 2025

We enjoyed another delicious lunch on board Heritage Adventurer with our captain outdoing his previous feats and managing to anchor the vessel right in the middle of the Sepik River.

After lunch Geoff  boarded a Zodiac and headed up the Sepik River to Kopar Village. Many tribes had come down as part of the welcome bringing a wide range of handicrafts, in particular wood carvings. The return Zodiac journey was rather eventful.

Our last evening featured the Captain’s Farewell Cocktails accompanied by a great slideshow by on-board photographer Steve Bradley.
