One Burgess Hill

Our self-contained unit at One Burgess Hill turned out to be just right. It overlooks the Waiwhakaiho River, but we couldn’t see it from our ground floor unit unless we strolled over to the edge about 5 mts away. Their restaurant, Quail’s Nest was open for breakfast. Beautifully set on a hill overlooking the valley and to the east was another hill where our accommodation was located. The entire complex has been well laid out and the gardens are immaculate, but it was time to say goodbye and drive south to Wellington.
