Monday 13th June 2016
Early start this morning as we were off to the Singapore Zoo and breakfast with the Orang Utans. Fortunately we did not have to share our eggs and herb tomatoes with them, but they did let us join them for a photo opportunity after they had finished munching on their breakfast.
Sean has joined us for the day so we then spent the next 8 hours exploring or 15kms (for those who are checking on our fitness levels) the zoo. We saw seals, Asian elephants, White Tigers, Pymgy Hippos, Otters, Caribbean Flamingos, African Painted Dogs, Red Panda, Giant Panda, White Rhinoceros, Zebras, Giraffes, Pumas, Leopards, Meerkats, Giant Tortoises, Komoda Dragons, Sun Bears, Polar Bear, Indian Gharial (Crocodile), Scarlet Ibis and so many more that I lost count.
What a fantastic day. We arrived home to recharge before dining out nearby on some great Thai cuisine.
