San Francisco Day 2

Some more exploring, some shopping – Bloomingdales and Macy’s were good. Saks Fifth Avenue, well that’s just right out of my league – $5000 dresses and that’s when they are on sale!!

Our big adventure today was out to the new Chase Centre to watch the Harlem Globetrotters in an exhibition match with the Washington State Warriors. We were well and truly entertained by the antics of the Globetrotters, however the skill level of all the players was outstanding. The audience leaves something to be desired – after paying about $US100 for a seat the locals spend most of their time up and down (many times) to the bar to buy more food and drink – it is amazing they can’t sit still for longer than 5 minutes at a time.

We had a drink on the 49th floor – Cityscape Bar before enjoying an Italian meal.
