Christmas Eve 2019

We drove from NASA, past Houston city centre and in a northerly direction towards Dallas on Monday late afternoon. It was simply amazing that it took at least 2 hours of driving through built up areas, multilevel freeways and thousands of vehicles to be finally clear of Houston, only to pass by more cities on the way to Dallas. We took a quick stop at Buffalo and arrived at 9:30pm – big day, but worth it.
Our accommodation is a huge 4 bedroom house, 3 lounge rooms with plenty of space for all. We did some shopping for supplies – American supermarkets are always interesting.
After lunch we headed into the city and visited the site where John F Kennedy was assassinated in November 1963.
