Barossa Valley Day 1 – Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop
Monday 7th September 2026
After a busy day of exploring we were in need of some refreshments, or a very late lunch. We called into Maggie Beer’s at 3:30pm, just 30 minutes from closing and selected a cheese platter and a chilled Semillon. Retreating to the deck that overlooked the lake we enjoyed our well earned break. The farm shop stocks lots of Maggie Beer branded products, a wine tasting bar and the home kitchen made famous in the ABC cooking program The Cook and The Chef.

We wandered around the aviary afterwards to take a closer look at the pheasants and the peacocks.
