Brisbane – Singapore – Rome

Tuesday 26th May – Day 1

Our Italian adventure starts today.  It was pouring rain on our departure from Buderim but fined up eventually as we approached the Brisbane airport. The first leg was an 8-hour flight to Singapore followed by a 12-hour flight to Rome and doing our best to sync with the time zone changes. We managed a reasonable sleep on the second leg of the journey waking up to a great breakfast before landing in Rome at 8:30am.
